Store EMPTY not possible to download anything on a new iPad install

edited February 10 in Bug Reports

I just migrated to a „new“ iPad. Not really new but another one with with iOS 17 because I needed an older version of iOS for another software. Downloaded NanoStudio 2 and it’s not possible to restore any IAPs or even download the free IAP since the Store tab is empty

Deleting and re-downloading the app doesn’t solve the issue.

Any ideas what can be done?
It’s rather not an iOS issue since the device is running iOS 17.6 and on my other iPad I have iOS 17.1 and no issues with NS2.

Appreciate any tips how to solve it

  • I highly recommend getting iMazing and backing up your apps locally. Don’t rely on the AppStore for this. Then you will be able to put NS2 on other devices from your iMazing back up.

I don’t think imazing can transfer apps from an iPad Pro to iPad Air. Correct me if I am wrong.
My question is why NS2 is suddenly misbehaving. I have it also installed on an iPhone and the store can be accessed no problem

  • I’m not entirely sure what is going on, but I will look into it. You can save an app from one iPad and install it on another that you own with iMazing. At least as far as I know. I haven’t yet done this, but I have heard from others that it works. Perhaps you already know, but basically iMazing is a 3rd party app to back up iDevices. It backs up to a local hard drive and you can restore from that back up no matter what is going on with the AppStore. NS2 hasn’t been updated in years and users should future proof their workflow by using iMazing. It’s just my opinion, but this seems to be the best way.

Hey I was able to „transfer“ NS2 between iPads but the store and iaps are empty… at least imazing transferred my obsidian and slate user presets… still the problem isn’t solved. Is the developer visiting this forum? I paid for almost all iaps and deposited some cash in his pocket, would be nice to have this bug resolved
